Boundless Hope Beyond Tragedy

“I was a single grandmother living on a fixed income with a happy go lucky life. God knows my prayers and He answered mine. I started caring for one of my grandchildren when he was 6 years old. We were doing well with no problems and able to care for him on my own for 5 years. Then my son was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident, and I took in his two boys.

While God filled my home with love and my grandchildren, our financials were struggling. I have been one of the recipients of the love and helping hand that the Harvest House gives. We have received food, clothing, bed frames and mattresses for the boys when initially setting up their new rooms and Christmas toys.

My main goal is to raise my grandsons to be good men and someday a good father and they know they are loved. This has only happened with the help of those around us such as the Harvest House. The Harvest House has been absolutely wonderful; I don’t know what I would have done without them.”
